Community Companions Development Worker
17.5 hours per week, permanent post
£21,330 – £23,700 per annum (pro rata)  

We are seeking an individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join the Social Isolation team at Dundee Volunteer and Voluntary Action.  Working alongside another development worker, your role will be to assist in increasing the capacity of the Community Companions project and support the development of the project to suit the requirements of those using the service.  You will be instrumental in volunteer recruitment and training as well as providing ongoing support for matches with identified lonely and isolated adults living in Dundee. You will be required to provide support to our intergenerational befriending work and residential social cafes.
