Social Isolation One Stop Shop Coordinator
35 hours per week, permanent post
£25,470 – £28,300
Social isolation affects different people in different ways and how it can be resolved will also be different. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a project to target and address social isolation in individuals who are identified as being at risk of, or suffering from, social isolation, lack of social contact and low community involvement.
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual with a knowledge of the Third Sector and of local services and supports that aim to address social isolation.
Your role will be to facilitate and support Third Sector involvement in the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of a One Stop Shop for people living in Dundee who have been assessed as not meeting the threshold for social care but may still require lower level support or assistance to help them to maintain or improve their health and wellbeing.
If you think you could drive forward this area of work and want to make a difference to social isolation in Dundee, see below for more information and to download an application form. The successful candidate will be subject to a PVG check.
