GO Project

The programme enables those people who’ve been referred to the service to connect with community-based resources and participate fully in activities of their choice, as a way of improving their mental health and wellbeing. GO volunteers are carefully selected and fully-trained to work alongside vulnerable adults on a one-to-one basis and offer the practical support they need to overcome their anxiety or fear of travelling, and join a group or class for the first time.

Get Involved

Volunteers should be prepared to commit to 1 supported visit a week, for a minimum of 12 months, after they complete the training. If you would like to become a volunteer, fill in the application pack below or contact us on 01382 797352 or goproject@dvva.scot to find out more.
