Gowrie Care aim to improve the quality of life of everyone they work with, offering varying levels of support to people in different settings making a difference to people and support them to live their life.
Help to raise money to support people with learning difficulties, autism and those who are or have been homeless, supporting them to live their lives, by helping us to run our charity shop.
Join us in our pilot pop up shop to generate funds to support our activities and projects and get to know the community in this busy high street atmosphere. As a volunteer with us you will play a vital role in the success of this pilot project.
The role will include general shop duties including front of house tasks such as welcoming customers, creating displays and sorting & pricing stock. There will be an opportunity to meet new people and get involved in the local community.
No previous experience is required however an interest in retail and working with the public would be beneficial. Specific training will be provided.
The shop is based at 191 Albert Street, Dundee, DD4 6PX.
Minimum age – 16. Support will be provided at all times; volunteers will be supported by the shop manager at all times as this is a trial pop up shop.
Potential volunteers can arrange suitable times to pop into the shop to get a taste of what they could be doing if they decide to volunteer with us
