Launch It Dundee is a new Scottish charity setting out to meet an evident need for affordable business premises and support for young Scottish entrepreneurs starting out on their business journey. We work with 18-30 year olds who are unemployed, underemployed or otherwise facing barriers to conventional employment, and provide them access to the space and support they need to start and grow their own businesses.

Business Mentors
Our Business Mentors are matched to a mentee based on their skills, experience and area of interest / business sector. We will endeavour to match mentors with mentees who are starting out in a similar field of work. You will both meet before we confirm the match, to ensure that there is a rapport between you both. Your role will involve: Attending mentor training; Meeting with your mentee once a month; Work with the Enterprise Manager to support your mentee to access appropriate training or additional support, and Keep a log of your mentoring meetings and send this to the Enterprise Manager on a monthly basis.

Enterprise Support Volunteer
We are looking for a volunteer who has experience of enterprise and business start up. They will support our enterprise manager at our centre and will work directly with our young people. The role will include representing the charity with local organisations, recruiting and supporting our young entrepreneurs and offering enterprise training support. The role will be extremely varied due to the very small team and start up nature of the centre.
