Although I work at Volunteer Dundee I still like to be involved in my local community namely the Hilltown. I sit on the Coldside Community Regeneration Forum and along with other members we decide together what local groups will get funding from our Dundee Partnership allocation. I am vice chair so am called upon to support the chair person and attend local community planning partnerships to represent the concerns of the group and updates service managers on what type of activities Coldside Regeneration Forum. We also get involved in the local Gala Day Xmas events and other fundraising activities. Tomorrow is our Quiz night in the Maxwell Centre and fingers crossed my team will win.
