Peer Recovery Development Worker (Substance Use)

P/T: 21 hours, Fixed term for 1 year
Salary:£21,330 – £23,700 pro rata (based on a FTE of 35 hrs)

Working as part of our Mental Health Engagement and Involvement Team, you will support adults in recovery from problematic alcohol and / or drug use to take part in community activity, volunteering and employment, which builds on their personal strengths and experiences.

We are looking for a confident, flexible and creative team player, with experience of supporting adults whose life circumstances have negatively impacted their employment opportunities in the past.

The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of mental health and substance related issues and of peer recovery, and will be required to join the PVG scheme.
