Dundee Community Transport runs a community car scheme where volunteer drivers use their own car to give lifts to people over 65 so that they can access social, recreational and medical appointments.

Play a part in helping Dundee’s older people enjoy greater independence and reduce social isolation in the community by joining the Board of Trustees as a Minute Secretary. The Board meets around 10 times a year. Main duties involve agreeing an Agenda with the Chair prior to the meeting, noting attendance and recording key points of the meeting and then circulating minutes of the meeting afterwards. This will also be required for the Annual General Meeting. When needed, you will be asked to take part in sub-groups of the Board.

Estimated total time commitment around 50 hours per year.
