Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Coronavirus (COVID-19) is the illness caused by a new strain of coronavirus first identified in Wuhan city, China. It can cause a cough and/or a fever/high temperature.
Generally, coronavirus can cause more severe symptoms in people with weakened immune systems, older people and those with long term conditions like diabetes, cancer and chronic lung disease.

Feeling Strong have developed an online ‘one-stop shop’ for information/guidance on COVID-19 and what’s going on here in Dundee.
Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce have an updated list of operational local food delivery and takeaway services here.
A new Dundee helpline has been launched that will provide lifeline support and supplies for vulnerable people who have been advised to shield themselves against coronavirus, but have no way to access services.
The Freephone number 0300 123 1403 will allow those who have been identified by Scotland’s chief medical officer because of specific health conditions to speak to council advisers, who will then be able to target emergency aid directly.

A single point of contact internet portal has been launched at www.taysidecares.co.uk to help provide a joined-up response in the wider Tayside local resilience partnership area, which includes Angus and Perth & Kinross.
