Catesbi is a social enterprise whose aim is to improve lives of children with autism using Applied Behaviour Analysis. We do this by offering training to: Families of Children in need of behavioural intervention to increase the child’s life skills, communication skills and independence; and training to Professionals working with children with developmental delays to upskill them and being able to teach using evidence based strategies.

Policy Manager

We are looking for a guidance and help with developing our volunteer policies and volunteer handbook. You will be in charge of creating documents and the handling of the policy information. The volunteer will put together volunteering processes and volunteer policy. You will be involved in all stages of the policy development, from identifying need, through drafting, to actual print of the complete volunteer handbook.

To be able to make positive changes in the life of people we serve, we would like to expand our collaboration with volunteers. To support them in their roles and ensure their positive volunteering experiences we want to get our policies right from the start. An interest in public policy and policy administration. Previous experience in creating policies is preferable but not necessary. Interest in/or experience in autism is also valid. Volunteer needs to have good communication & presentation skills.

Communication Officer

Do you have a flair for producing clear and positive communication materials and would like to develop your skills and experience? You will be involved in producing articles, interviews and complex business letters. You will benefit from broadening your knowledge in the area of behaviour science as well as potentially accessing professional contacts. Your work will start a ripple which will ultimately help families of children with autism to access an early behaviour intervention.

Both opportunities are short term projects which can be done mainly from home. Minimum age 16.
