Hi there my name is Amanda and I am the Youth Volunteering Worker at Volunteer Dundee!

When I am not working I enjoy volunteering as a Lieutenant Officer in the 21st Dundee Girls Brigade. I specifically work with the Explorer Section which involve working with girls aged 5-8. In my role I do fun activities with the girls such as reading stories, making crafts and playing games or dancing.

I love volunteering here as it gives me an opportunity to take some time out of my week to have some fun with young people whilst at the same time making a difference to their life. It also helps me come up with creative ideas as to how I can engage better with young people in my post too!
